Going by the photo (right), it’s almost impossible to recognise actress Nehalaxmi Iyer, who is currently seen as Saumya in Ishqbaaz. The actress’ look easily reminds one of the legendary showman Raj Kapoor’s joker avatar, in the film Mera Naam Joker. The actress pulled off this sequence for a scene, where the girls on the show — Annika, Mallika and Saumya — turn into ghosts to scare the three Oberoi brothers.
Of all the three ladies, Nehalaxmi became the show stealer of sorts, since she looked unrecognisable in her joker attire. Nehalaxmi says, “I was really kicked about my joker look. I took inspiration from the greatest showman, Raj Kapoor, and made sure that the team played my favourite song Jeena Yahan Marna Yahan from the film Mera Naam Joker. Since they were sweet enough to play the song, I too returned the favour by dancing like Raj Kapoor.”
