The constant invasion of her privacy in the past has made Rashami Desai distance herself from stepping into the spotlight. In fact, she has often been told about how she is inaccessible, but the actress is undeterred.
“I mind my own business. Too much of attention becomes intrusive at times. I have seen lot of ups and downs in life; I have realised that nothing is permanent in life. I have stopped running behind things. I understand the difference between perception and reality,” shares Rashami.
The actress says she prefers working on herself. She reveals, “The fast pace of life doesn’t give you much scope for wasting your time or wallowing in the past or regrets. I choose to focus on myself, because I know every person is responsible for one’s own happiness. I have been working on myself, so I guess there will be a few changes that people around me may or may not like.”
Even as the actress states that she is simply being low-profile, this aloofness is quickly giving her the reputation of being moody. Rashami says, “Creative people are always moody, so why single me out? There is always more than what meets the eye. People judge you without knowing the facts. I am very choosy about the people I want in my life right now.”
