Ajaz Khan asked to leave from Pratyusha Banerjee's funeral after his rift with Kamya
Mumbai: The funeral of actress Pratyusha Banerjee, who committed suicide on Friday by hanging herself at her residence in Mumbai, took place around 6 pm at the Oshiwara electric crematorium. After the post-mortem procedures, the body of the actress was directly brought to the crematorium from the hospital for the last rites.
Celebrities and close friends of the actress like Kamya Punjabi, Ajaz Khan, Sara Khan, Pooja Bose, Kunal verma, Apurva Agnihotri, Shilpa Agnihotri, Jay and Mahi Bhanushali, Rakhi Sawant, Smita Bansal, Bhairavi Raichura, Arti Singh and Gajendra Chauhan attended the funeral.

According to eye witnesses a heated exchange took place between actors Kamya Punjabi and Ajaz Khan as the latter kept mouthing things that irritated everyone in general.

When things got out of hand Ajaz was politely asked to leave the cremation ground by the family members of the actress.
“I was very close to her. I never thought she would do something like this. She was too young to go” said Mahi Bhanushali close friend of the actress.
“I am very shocked. Never thought she could hang herself. We can get emotional and all that but we are awaiting her post-mortem report to know what happened. She was a strong girl. She could not have taken her own life. Ever since her parents left the city she was feeling lonely. We all were there for her, if only she called us” added another close friend Kunal verma.
