Telangana HC Division Bench Grants Relief to Akhanda 2 Makers, Stays Single Bench Orders
The legal matter is scheduled to be heard again on the 15th

Hyderabad: The production house, 14 Reels Plus, behind the film Akhanda 2: Thandavam, secured an interim stay from the Telangana High Court's Division Bench on Friday. This decision temporarily halts the earlier orders of a Single Judge Bench until December 14th. The legal matter is scheduled to be heard again on the 15th.
The Single Bench's previous directives, issued in response to a petition filed on Thursday, had mandated the cancellation of advance premiere shows and prohibited any increase in ticket prices for the film. The petition specifically challenged the proposed hike in ticket rates and the holding of advance premieres in Telangana.
Following the adverse ruling, the production company, starring Nandamuri Balakrishna and directed by Boyapati Srinu, appealed to the Division Bench, which has now suspended the Single Bench's orders pending the next hearing.
