Glam diva Tamannaah, who has carved a niche for herself as a specialist in special songs, is reportedly in discussions with the makers of the much-hyped The Raja Saab, starring Prabhas.

Glam diva Tamannaah, who has carved a niche for herself as a specialist in special songs, is reportedly in discussions with the makers of the much-hyped The Raja Saab, starring Prabhas. “Tamannaah has become a lucky mascot for big-ticket movies, and her special numbers have often boosted commercial success and generated huge buzz,” says a celebrity manager. “Her dance numbers in Jailer, Stree 2, and Raid 2 turned into sensational chartbusters,” he adds.
Tamannaah indeed holds an edge over many actresses, thanks to her impressive dancing skills and ability to master even intricate choreography quickly. “Special songs usually need just three to four days of shooting, and directors prefer actresses who can deliver within tight schedules — very few can pull that off,” he points out.
With The Raja Saab set for a worldwide release, the addition of an actress with pan-India appeal would further elevate its commercial potential. “Particularly, her racy number ‘Aaj Ki Raat’ from the horror-comedy Stree 2 showcased her dynamic dance prowess, and if the deal goes through, audiences might see her bring similar energy to The Raja Saab,” he adds.
Recently, Sreeleela joined the bandwagon of star dancers with her special number in Pushpa: The Rule, joining the ranks of Nora Fatehi, Pooja Hegde, Kajal Aggarwal, and Shruti Haasan, who have all featured in special songs in Tollywood films. “With top actresses stepping in, these are no longer called ‘item songs’ — they’re seen as glamorous highlights of big movies,” he concludes.
