Swasika Declines Role as Ram Charan's Mother in 'PEDDI'

Ram Charan's 'PEDDI' has its release scheduled in 2026. The film's teaser and promos have already significantly raised audience expectations.

Helmed by director Buchi Babu Sana, 'PEDDI' boasts a stellar cast that includes Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyenndu.

Recently, Malayalam actress Swasika, who made her Telugu debut with Nithiin's 'Thammudu,' revealed that she was offered the role of Ram Charan's mother in 'PEDDI.'

However, she rejected the offer, stating she was not comfortable playing the character. She was offered the role of a mother in the movie. She feels it is too early for her to play an onscreen mother.

'PEDDI', whose music is by AR Rahman, is being made on a grand scale with a lavish budget.
