SSMB29: Massive Budget, Huge Scale, and Director's Whopping Remuneration

Director Rajamouli is making a movie with Superstar Mahesh Babu, which is tentatively titled #SSMB29. The untitled film will be made on a massive budget of Rs 1,000 crore.

The team has completed its last schedule in Odisha. Mahesh Babu recently went for a short vacation with his family and has now returned to the city; he is expected to join the shoot soon. According to reports, a special set has been erected in Ramoji Film City, where shooting will continue for about a month.

Rumors are circulating about Rajamouli’s remuneration for the movie. If reports are to be believed, Rajamouli is charging Rs 200 crore for the film, which is said to be more than Mahesh Babu’s pay. Furthermore, Rajamouli will also take a share from the film's profits. Considering all this, it appears that Rajamouli could become the highest-paid director in India.

Prithviraj Sukumaran and Priyanka Chopra Jonas will appear in prominent roles, and the film is expected to release sometime in 2027 in multiple languages.
