The announcement of KHxRK, featuring two of Indian cinema's biggest legends — Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth — has already created tremendous excitement among movie lovers. Naturally, speculation has been rife about whether Shruti Haasan would also be a part of the highly anticipated project.
Putting the rumors to rest, Shruti made it clear that she is not involved in the film. Speaking to the media recently, she said, "I just recently met both Appa (Kamal Haasan) and Rajinikanth sir. But I'm saying this clearly — I'm not part of KHxRK."
Despite not being associated with the project, Shruti expressed immense excitement about the collaboration and revealed that working with Rajinikanth in Coolie had made her an even bigger admirer of the superstar.
"I'm a huge fan of my father, but after working on Coolie, I became a massive fan of Rajini sir because of his personality. KHxRK will be a true celebration for the film industry. I'm eagerly waiting to see what Nelson Dilipkumar does with these two legends," she said.
Shruti also described both Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth as priceless treasures of Indian cinema. "I met them both recently, and they are amazing. They are a treasure to our industry," she added.
Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and featuring music by Anirudh Ravichander, KHxRK is one of the most eagerly awaited projects in Indian cinema, as it brings together Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth on screen in what promises to be a landmark cinematic event.
On the work front, Shruti Haasan was recently seen in a special song in Ram Charan's Peddi. While the track generated considerable buzz before release, it received mixed reactions from audiences, with some viewers feeling that its placement in the film and the lyrical content could have been handled better.
