A new documentary titled “Survivor” is set to offer an intimate and inspiring look at Kannada cinema icon Shiva Rajkumar’s courageous battle with bladder cancer. The film will trace his journey from diagnosis through treatment and recovery, shedding light on a deeply challenging phase of his life.
Shiva Rajkumar, who revealed in March 2025 that his year-long fight against the disease would be documented to raise public awareness, has been candid about his health struggles. The documentary, officially announced on his birthday, is produced by Geetha Shivarajkumar under the family’s banner, Geetha Pictures. It is written and directed by Pradeep Sastry, and promises to be both powerful and emotional.
Concerns over the actor’s health first emerged in August 2024 when he appeared visibly unwell during a press event.
