Sandeep Reddy Vanga Steals The Show At ‘Jigris’ Teaser Launch

There would hardly be anyone who doesn’t talk about sensational director Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
The grand teaser launch event of Jigris became even more special with his presence as the chief guest.
Speaking after launching the teaser, Sandeep Reddy Vanga shared,
“Producer Krishna Vodapalli has been my friend since LKG. If he had told me beforehand, I would have said, ‘Don’t produce a movie.’ But without telling me, he went ahead and started it. When I was shooting Animal, he called and said, ‘One schedule is already done in Goa.’ I started scolding him right there on the phone, asking why he got into production. Later, when I came to Hyderabad during a break in Animal shooting, he showed me some visuals. They were very good.
I watched a few scenes and found them really impressive—especially the comedy. Nowadays, most contemporary comedy tends to be vulgar, but here director Harish has written and shot it very well without such elements. The music by Kamran Syed is superb—it suits the visuals perfectly. As far as I know, there are three to four songs in the film, and they will be released soon. I believe audiences will connect to them well.
From what I saw in the teaser, the comedy is actually much more in the film than what’s shown here. One great quality of the Telugu audience is that, regardless of their relationship with the producer or director, if a film is good, they will make it a blockbuster. This is a small film, but please support it wholeheartedly. These people have worked really hard—of course, everyone works hard, but this is a different kind of hard work.
After the release, when the film becomes a hit, you’ll hear the stories—like how they were caught by police in Goa while shooting, or again near the Maharashtra border. Once you hear all that, you’ll understand why they took such risks. Let’s talk more about it exactly at the success meet. Good luck to all the Jigris team!
