The successful TV show Weekend with Ramesh may have ended, but the feast for the Kannada audiences is set to continue with the Kannada version of Drama Juniors! Veteran actress Julie Lakshmi, popular director TN Seetharam and actor Vijay Raghavendra will judge the performances of the few select talented children. The TV show is scheduled to air on weekends, starting on April 30 at 9 pm on Zee Kannada.
New on the small screen
No less than Sandalwood, the Kannada small screen industry is growing in leaps and bounds with all kinds of new shows and TV soaps being launched frequently. One of the latest from the house of Udaya TV is Meenakshi Maduve, a mega TV soap that is set to hit the small screens from May 2 at 6.30 pm. The makers say that the serial revolves around the female character Meenakshi, who is said to be bold and straight forward.
