Legendary actor, director and producer Dwarakish who is popularly known as ‘Karnatakada kulla’, turned 75 this week. The veteran who started his film journey in 1962, has so far completed 55 years in the Kannada cinema with scores of films as an actor and director including the record 50 films produced under his prestigious banner Dwarakish Chitra. As the veteran celebrated his 75th birthday with family members, his 51st film production has been announced with the title Amma I Love You which is the remake of the Tamil hit film Pichchakaaran. Actor Ishan who made his debut in Rogue is the hero for Amma I Love You.

What happens when the chief minister of a state goes missing? While the answer in unimaginable, Sandalwood is set to witness another political satire with the title Mukhyamantri Kaldodnappo. The director of the film, Shivakumar, has also played one of the two chief minister’s in the film. The film, according to its makers, is a satire that reflects the present-day system of all the four main pillars of the democracy.

Aishwarya gets lucky
The popular small screen actor Vijay Kumar, who has acted in several films, makes a fresh start with his new film which was recently launched with the title Punarambha meaning restart or a fresh beginning. Aishwarya Dinesh, a newcomer is paired opposite Vijay in the tale which is about a struggling person, who faces the challenges of life to reach a new height. Apart from playing the lead, Vijay is directing and producing the film, all for a new beginning.
