One of the most sought after actresses down South, Rashmika Mandanna is currently at the highest peak of her career. The Geetha Govindam actress has geared up for her next Dear Comrade opposite Vijay Deverakonda. Directed by Bharat Kamma, Dear Comrade is all set for a grand release worldwide on July 26, in all South Indian languages. While fans are eagerly waiting to know what’s in the store next, reports surfaced online suggest Rashmika will be seen opposite Vijay in Thalapathy 64. The upcoming project will be directed by Lokesh of Managaram fame. However, no official confirmation regarding the same has been made.
This is for the second time that Rashmika has rumoured to be paired opposite Vijay. However, earlier, Rashmika rubbished the reports but expressed how she is looking forward to work with Vijay soon. “A lot of you have been asking me if I am a part of Vijay sir’s and Atlee Sir’s film but since that’s not happening this time I hope I get to work with them soon. I am so overwhelmed (like literally) to see such support from all of you. I will definitely make a debut there soon. I love you all very much” Rashmika had tweeted.
If reports are anything to go by, Thalapathy will mark Rashmika’s second film in Kollywood. The actress enjoys a huge fan following all over and fans are eagerly waiting to know what the actress has to offer with her Tamil debut as the gorgeous has signed a Tamil film with actor Karthi, which will be directed by Remo director Bakkiyaraj Kannan.
