Actress Latha Hegde, an NRI from New Zealand who made her entry into Kannada films in Athiratha, directed by Mahesh Babu, opposite Chetan, will be essaying Nusrat’s role, in Vinay Rajkumar’s third venture Ananthu v/s Nusrat.
The film directed by Sudhir Shanbogh features Vinay in a lawyer’s role and Latha plays a Muslim woman in romantic comedy. The team is gearing up for a shoot of the main protagonists.
PRK’s KAVALU DAARI KICKs off
Puneeth Rajkumar’s maiden venture Kavalu Daari under the PRK Productions banner, directed by Hemanth Rao is scheduled to go on the floors this Friday. Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar, wife of the Power Star is producing it. Anant Nag, Achyuth Kumar, Rishi, Suman Ranganathan and Roshini Prakash essay roles in this tale of two Bengaluru police officers investigating a murder case. Anant Nag plays Muthanna, a retired inspector and Rishi is Shyam, a sub-inspector.
ONCE MORE KAURAVA
Noted director S Mahendar is ready with his most ambitious comeback Once More Kaurava featuring TV actress Anusha and newcomer Naresh Gowda, who is also producing it. Mahendar’s earlier Kaurava released in 1998 and featured BC Patil and Prema with Nadabrahma Hamsalekha’s super musical spin. This one is scored by Sridhar Sambhram.
