His brothers Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar and Raghavendra Rajkumar are more trained singers. Puneeth who occasionally sings for films, does a noble deed by donating the remuneration he receives for his songs to the underprivileged. Picking up on the trend from Bollywood with star actors trying their hands at singing, Sandalwood too has been testing the star voice with almost all the leading star actors venturing into playback while even importing talents of from neighbouring industries like Dhanush, Junior NTR, and Kajal Aggarwal. He recently recorded a song for Mandya to Mumbai, singing Deola Deola. For Rhaate, he sang Jodi Hakki, adding it to his list of at least a dozen playback songs.

RADHIKA SINGS HEY DEEWANA WITH SRII MURALI
The actress who has been a lucky mascot for Kannada producers, has for the first time, tried her luck with singing. Making her playback debut for Zoom scored by S S Thaman, Radhika Pandit, has teamed up with another actor-turned-singer Srii Murali to sing Hey Deewana.. Apparently, Srii Murali, who made a huge comeback with Ugramm, followed with Rathaavara, had made his singing debut for Rathaavara singing Hudugi Kannu.
