After her debut as one of the female leads in Kirik Party, dancer-turned-actress Samyuktha Hegde is trending on social media after being trolled for rumours over ditching her ongoing Kannada movie Kaalej Kumar by signing a Tamil movie directed by Karthik Subbaraj featuring dancing star actor and director Prabhudeva.
According to a source, the actress had indeed gone on to be a part of the Tamil film. Even as talks were on with the Tamil film, sources say that she had okayed her dates which were clashing with the ongoing Kannada film Kaalej Kumar directed by Santhu of Alemari film. Sources further reveal that the actress who is a passionate dancer was very much keen to be a part the film starring Prabhudeva, who is the dancing icon of Indian film industry.
Disturbed by the events, the producers of Kaleej Kumar held a meeting and finally got the issue resolved with actress sticking to Kaalej Kumar. Now, the actress is currently shooting for the Kannada film. The actress even clarified her stand by posting a message on her Facebook account, saying that Kannada will always remain her first preference and not everything which is being talked about her Tamil venture is true! No doubt, Samyukta is starting her Kaalej days with a kirik!
