Pretty, little actress learns to fly!

In this movie, apart from playing the love interest, she is also one of the producers of the film.

This talented model-turned-actress, started off with a ‘challenging’ role alongside Darshan in Brundavana. Later, she followed it with Charlie and Jani, for which she earned appreciation for her pretty little act. Ever since then, actress Milana Nagaraj has been flying with her most anticipated project Fly, an adventurous romantic tale.

She is not just acting in a variety of genres, but has also turned producer recently. We catch up with Sandalwood actress, Milana Nagaraj for a quick chat.

In between, she has completed her first horror venture titled O and will also be seen, in Love Mocktail, which marks the directorial debut of actor Krishna.

In this movie, apart from playing the love interest, she is also one of the producers of the film.

In a chit-chat with Bengaluru Chronicle, the actress shares that she has signed one more film Matte Udbhava, to be directed by the renowned filmmaker Kodlu Ramakrishna. It will be launched this Thursday, where she dons the role of a politician.

“My last film Jani was released a year ago, and since then I am fortunate to have been working in a variety of exciting projects. And, the biggest excitement is that all my flims will be releasing this year. I have been so busy that I have had no time for modelling assignments,” says Milana Nagaraj.

Apart from her most expected Fly, which is yet to release, the actress has an interesting line of projects. She explains, “Fly, which is an adventurous romantic thriller, is taking long to land in theatres. However, its relevant subject will remain fresh despite its delay. That apart, Love Mocktail, has turned me into a producer as well. In between, I recently wrapped up the shoot for O,” she adds.

A great fan of horror movies, Milana says she had a great time shooting for the horror venture. “It was even scarier to act with all the dark and smokey set up. “O is different and I am sure the audience will not be disappointed with this spooky experience”.

Whereas, Matte Udbhava, is a sequel to the 1990 comedy classic Udbhava which featured the senior actor Anant Nag. “On papers, it is going to be a sequel to Udbhava but the director has tweaked in accordance with the present audience’s liking and interests. Rangayana Raghu, and Pramod of Premier Padmini fame will act in the film. The best part is that I play a two shaded character, one of which is that of a politician,” she smiles.

With a busy schedule for over year, Milana wraps up by saying that the role of a producer and acting in vaious movies has kept her occupied. “I couldn’t have asked for more with exciting roles, which are all different from one another. The year 2019 is going to be an exciting for me,” she signs off.
