Rohit Shetty Clears Air On Rift With SRK

Chennai Express was a drama comedy movie that kept the audience interested till the end of the movie. However, their next movie couldn't recapture the same magic, as Dilwale failed at the box office.

Later the rumours of a rift between the two swirled for a very long time.

Meanwhile, Shetty addressed these rumours in an interview with Komal Nahta on his Game Changers Podcast, saying, "There's nothing like that."

"We have mutual respect. We started our own production house after Dilwale. We decided to make our own films so that if we face a loss, it is on us. However, we did not face a loss in Dilwale," Shetty explained.

Rohit Shetty also emphasized that Overseas was a huge success. Dilwale was produced by Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan under their production house, Red Chillies Entertainment.

During the time of its release in 2015, the movie had a clash with the period drama of Sanjay Leela Bhansali starring Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Priyanka Chopra.

In addition, Rohit Shetty also talked about his bond with Ajay Devgan, Ranveer Singh, and Deepika Padukone, and called Ajay his elder brother.

Rohit Shetty's last movie was Singham Again which was released in 2024. The movie is a franchise from his Cop Universe which includes Singham, Singham Returns, Simmba, and Sooryavanshi. The movie is the third installment in the Singham series and the fifth in the overall cop franchise.

Moreover, Shah Rukh Khan's last movie was Dunki, directed by Raj Kumar Hirani, which was released in 2023. He is further gearing up for his next movie, 'King' and will be working alongside Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, and Abhay Verma. The movie will be directed by Siddharth Anand.
