Ritik Ghanshani's dream come true entry into Rajshri Productions
The young actor reflects on his journey, versatility, and what it means to be a hero
Ritik Ghanshani’s entry into Rajshri Productions has been nothing short of a dream come true. When the casting team first reached out to him on Instagram, he thought it was a prank. But after passing two rounds of auditions, he landed the role of Rishabh, a character he calls a “pinch me” moment. “Growing up, I always looked up to characters like Prem from Vivah. Sooraj sir made such roles iconic, and to be part of that world was surreal,” Ritik says.
For Ritik, being cast in a Rajshri production wasn’t just about acting; it was about becoming a part of a legacy, a chance to be loved by families across India. “Rajshri shaped my definition of a hero. Their heroes were soft, kind, and didn’t need to fight to be strong,” he explains.
Ritik’s experience on set was a family affair, especially under the guidance of Sooraj Barjatya, where the warmth of the production team made every moment special. He also found himself in a new challenge while working on Sky Force alongside Akshay Kumar. "Akshay sir’s humility is his greatest strength. His work ethic inspired me to bring my best, every single day,” Ritik shares.
While he’s embraced his romantic hero image, Ritik’s theater background has prepared him for more diverse roles. “I love romance, but I’m trained in versatility,” he says, ready to challenge his limits. As for the “chocolate boy” tag, Ritik takes it as a compliment: “Keep them coming!” With his rising popularity and relentless passion, Ritik Ghanshani is undoubtedly one to watch in the industry.
