Ram Charan Opens Up About His Adventurous Parenting Style and Focus on Family
Ram Charan is awaiting the release of PEDDI.
Actor Ram Charan is a doting father to three children: two daughters and a son. Recently, he was featured as the cover star for Esquire India. In an interview, when asked whether he is a strict or a fun father, the actor replied, "I am the rough kind of dad. The one who lets them jump, play dirty, climb, and take risks. Their mother is the nurturing pole; I am the one they come to when they want courage."
He further discussed how he aspires to live while balancing work and fame. He stated, "The biggest lesson we learn is from observing our parents. And I want to be a very, very present person first. And I want to be a present father. My pets and my core family… they are my unit. I try to keep my world a little small, contained."
For those who may not know, Ram Charan tied the knot with Upasana Konidela, the vice-chairman of Apollo Charity, in June 2012. After knowing one another for several years, the couple got engaged in December 2011.
On the career front, Ram Charan is awaiting the release of PEDDI. The film is produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas and co-produced by Ishan Saksena under IVY Entertainment. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana of Uppena fame, the movie also features Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyenndu in prominent roles.
