Rajamouli Assures Role for Nani in Epic Mahabharata

It’s well known that ace director S.S. Rajamouli has long harbored a dream of bringing the epic Mahabharata to the big screen. Over the years, he has often mentioned that telling such a vast and intricate story would be a monumental task, likely requiring multiple parts. Now, this ambitious project is back in the spotlight.
At the pre-release event for HIT 3, when anchor Suma quizzed Rajamouli about Mahabharata and whether actor Nani would feature in it, the star director confirmed, "Nani would definitely be a part of it." However, he kept the specifics of Nani’s role under wraps, adding an air of mystery around the project.
Rajamouli also took a moment to commend producer Prashanti Tipirneni for her consistent success and praised director Sailesh Kolanu for his composed response to concerns about HIT 3 leaks. "The way he handled the query on movie leaks—I was just floored by his diplomacy and how he held back his anger," Rajamouli said.
Discussing future plans, the SSMB29 director revealed that the HIT franchise will continue to expand with more sequels in the coming years. Speaking fondly of his Eega star, Nani, Rajamouli said, "Nani has surpassed all our expectations and grown tremendously in his career. You have all our support, Nani—keep soaring higher."
With Rajamouli’s Mahabharata inching closer to reality, and with stars like Nani on board, excitement is certainly building among fans.
