Producer SKN Lodges Complaint Against Mysterious Social Media Handle
The issue has now come to SKN's notice, prompting him to take legal action
Over the past two days, certain social media handles have been spreading negativity against the film The Raja Saab. In addition to this, some accounts on X.com claimed that the film’s creative producer, SKN, was commenting on Prabhas fans’ posts through a new and unidentified handle. These posts allegedly praised director Maruthi while making critical remarks about Prabhas, triggering further controversy.
The issue has now come to SKN's notice, prompting him to take legal action. SKN has lodged a formal complaint at the Cyber Crime Police Station, stating that unknown social media handles were impersonating him and posting derogatory and misleading comments targeting The Raja Saab and its actors.
In his complaint, SKN mentioned that such actions are deliberately spreading negativity around the film and requested the authorities to take strict action against those responsible. Ever since The Raja Saab failed to meet the expectations of a section of movie lovers, there has been widespread targeting of director Maruthi and producer SKN on social media, with some users resorting to unparliamentary language.
Given the seriousness of the issue, SKN has chosen the legal route to curb the misinformation and online abuse. While social media users are free to express criticism and opinions on platforms like X.com, it does not justify the use of abusive language or personal attacks against filmmakers and producers.
Meanwhile, director Maruthi has once again become a target of trolling after a brief lull, with several comments crossing the line of decency. At the same time, Prabhas’ fans are urged to exercise restraint, as success and failure are part of any actor’s career.
