After the film's release, Naga Vamsi interacted with the media about Kingdom. Producer Naga Vamsi said that he is "always tensed even if the movie budget is Rs 5 crore or Rs 500 crore before its release."
He further added, "There is no promising opening even if there are hit songs. We can't predict which movie will become a hit. We will only know when the audience or fans make advance bookings for the movie."
He explained that a film's success depends on three factors: if the buyers recoup their investment with GST, it's a "hit"; if they save the GST, it's a "super hit"; and if they get a commission, it's a "big hit."
Vamsi stated that Kingdom is a "super hit in many areas" and that the film collected well in Malayalam, which they hadn't anticipated. He added that they would have clarity on the film's collections within a week, and its success would be decided within two weeks.
