Telangana govt permits six shows for Kalki 2898 AD

It looks like ace producer Ashwini Dutt has requested the state government in Telangana for extra shows for his upcoming magnum opus ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. In response, the government has issued a GO which states ‘after careful examination of the matter, hereby permits Vyjayanthi Movies to allow 6th show (special show at 5.30 am)on 27.6.2024 to 4.7.24 with enhanced rate Rs 200(including GST).”.

The statement further adds, "Government hereby permits 5 shows for a period of 8 days, from 27.624 to 4.7.24 in all the released theaters in Telangana state for the movie ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. And also permits hike in ticket rates by Rs 75 for single screens, Rs 100 for multiplex theatres respectively across the state’

No doubt, Prabhas starrer has been sold for Rs 70 crores in Telangana state and distributors would heave a sigh of relief now. They could release the film in more than 350-odd theatres in Telangana and draw sensational openings and recover their big investments.
