Manchu Vishnu's forthcoming film, Kannappa, is gearing up for a theatrical release on June 27th.

Manchu Vishnu's forthcoming film, Kannappa, is gearing up for a theatrical release on June 27th. Apart from Vishnu, the film boasts a stellar cast including Rebel Star Prabhas, Mohanlal, and Akshay Kumar, among others.
Prabhas will make a guest appearance in the monsoon release. It is no secret that the Kalki 2898 AD actor is one of the highest-paid stars in the Indian film industry. So, how much was he paid for his cameo in the movie?
Vishnu, in a recent interview, mentioned that he tried extensively to discuss remuneration with Prabhas, but whenever the topic arose, Prabhas would skillfully divert the conversation. Subsequently, Vishnu asked his father, Mohan Babu, to speak with Prabhas about the payment. "Don't worry, I will talk to him," Mohan Babu assured Vishnu. When Mohan Babu approached Prabhas, the Baahubali actor reportedly said, "If Vishnu ever raises the topic of remuneration, I would kill him." Vishnu elaborated, "Prabhas is a pan-Indian star, and we would have paid him whatever he asked, but he hasn't charged a single rupee due to his bond and respect for my father. I will always be indebted to Prabhas for a lifetime."
Similarly, Mollywood actor Mohanlal also hasn't charged any fee for the movie. Kannappa is directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and produced by Mohan Babu. Akshay Kumar and Kajal Aggarwal will be seen as Lord Shiva and Parvati.
