Exactly ten years ago, Baahubali began as a bold dream — an ambitious vision that blossomed into a cultural phenomenon no one could have fully anticipated. Now, as the cast and crew reunite to celebrate a decade since the journey began, they reflect not just on the legendary story, but on the extraordinary path that led them here — and the enduring legacy that continues to captivate millions around the world.
What started as a cinematic venture quickly transcended the silver screen, embedding itself into the hearts and daily lives of audiences across generations and geographies. The grandeur of the narrative, unforgettable characters, and S.S. Rajamouli’s visionary filmmaking turned Baahubali into more than just a film; it became a cultural touchstone — a shared experience that still inspires and resonates deeply.
The reunion was an emotional gathering, filled with nostalgia, gratitude, and reflection. For the team behind the epic, it offered an opportunity to revisit the countless moments — the triumphs, the setbacks, and the unexpected turns — that could have altered the journey, yet ultimately shaped its historic success. These memories stand as a testament to the dedication, resilience, and unwavering faith that brought Baahubali to life.
Beyond the reunion of the creators, the celebration is also a heartfelt tribute to the fans whose passion has kept the spirit of Baahubali alive. Every cheer, every discussion, every creative tribute shared over the years has ensured that the saga belongs as much to them as it does to the filmmakers and actors.
Adding to the excitement, director S.S. Rajamouli shared a special announcement on X to mark the 10-year milestone: the release of Baahubali: The Epic, a two-part combined film. Posting a striking new poster, Rajamouli wrote:
"Baahubali. The beginning of many journeys. Countless memories. Endless inspiration. It’s been 10 years. Marking this special milestone with Baahubali: The Epic, a two-part combined film. In theatres worldwide on October 31, 2025."
Before revealing the release date, the production house Arka Media Works confirmed that both Baahubali films would be merged into a single cinematic experience, featuring new cuts and edits to enhance the narrative.
Invariably, the film joins the elite list of star-studded re-releases in Tollywood and the film is expected to open to sensational openings in two Telugu states.
