Post-Production in Full Swing for Lokesh Kanagaraj's Coolie; Pre-Release Musical Event Postponed

Meanwhile, the much-anticipated pre-release musical event for Coolie: The Power House, which was scheduled to be held in Mumbai, has been postponed. The event promised a high-voltage evening of music and star presence, with the likes of music director Anirudh Ravichander, Nagarjuna, Shruti Haasan, and Lokesh Kanagaraj expected to attend.

However, according to an inside source, “Yes, the event has been postponed due to scheduling conflicts. The dates of some key stars weren’t aligning. We haven’t received confirmation on the rescheduled date yet. Rajinikanth sir was not expected to attend the event.”

The source added, “Director Lokesh and the team are fully focused on completing the final mix. With just 4 days left for delivery, they’re working at blitzkrieg speed.”

Coolie, starring Rajinikanth in the lead, features a stellar cast including Nagarjuna, Soubin Shahir, Upendra, Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj, Aamir Khan, Rachita Ram, among others. Produced by Kalanithi Maran under the Sun Pictures banner, the film is set to hit theatres on August 14, clashing with Ayan Mukerji’s War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR.
