Planet Indie at the NCPA Celebrates Independent Music
Spanning rock, pop-rock, alternative rock and psychedelic rock, the evening brings together the band’s distinctive original sound and familiar rock favourites.
The NCPA’s Planet Indie, a concert series dedicated to independent music, returns with a performance by Music UnLtd., led by composer, singer and guitarist Milind Chitnavis, popularly known as Milin. The concert will feature the band’s original compositions, including It Crossed My Mind, I Like Green Eyes Too, This Is It and Give Us Free, alongside a selection of cover songs. Spanning rock, pop-rock, alternative rock and psychedelic rock, the evening brings together the band’s distinctive original sound and familiar rock favourites.
Formed in 2014, Music UnLtd. was founded by Chitnavis following a career composing for jingles, television serials and documentaries. The band's original music has received international recognition, with It Crossed My Mind winning Best Original Song at the World Film Festival in Cannes, and has been featured in publications including Rolling Stone India and Illustrated Magazine. Joining Chitnavis on stage are Stephen Veigas (keyboards), Kevin Chetti (lead guitar), Samuel Dias (bass) and Colin Vyas (drums), with guest appearances by Prasad Rahane on sitar and Shiv Rudra on flute.
