Pawan Kalyan’s Compassion for Animals Winning Hearts

Now, the Deputy CM’s latest gesture for animals in Andhra Pradesh villages is winning hearts once again.

Over the years, heartwarming pictures and videos of superstar Pawan Kalyan feeding cows and other domestic animals at his farmhouse near Hyderabad have touched millions online.

Now, the Deputy CM’s latest gesture for animals in Andhra Pradesh villages is winning hearts once again. With temperatures soaring across the state, cattle and other domestic animals have been suffering due to acute water scarcity and drought in many villages. Moved by their plight, Panchayati Raj Commissioner Krishna Teja proposed a noble idea: to build large water bowls for the animals. Without hesitation, Pawan Kalyan — an ardent animal lover — immediately approved the plan.

He sanctioned ₹67.50 crore under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) to construct 15,000 giant water bowls, each costing ₹45,000. These chalivendrams, available in 3,500-liter and 2,300-liter capacities, have been installed across villages and will be regularly refilled with water not just during summer, but year-round. Impressively, the entire project was completed in just 25 days.

Images showing thousands of cows, buffaloes, sheep, goats, and other animals drinking water from these bowls have gone viral, with many describing it as animals “blessing” Pawan Kalyan for his kindness. Farmers, fans, and even political opponents have praised him for understanding animal welfare and social media already abuzz with positive comments.

On the acting front, Pawan Kalyan is awaiting the release of his upcoming film 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu' and also going to work in his other big film 'OG' with director Sujeeth.
