Pakistani RJ Apologises to Katrina Kaif After Salman Khan's Bashing

Pakistani RJ Dr Ejaz Waris issued a public apology to actor Katrina Kaif. He had earlier made derogatory remarks about her post-pregnancy weight gain. His comments followed Katrina's appearance at the Ambani Ganesh Chaturthi celebration.

The backlash intensified after host Salman Khan spoke out on Bigg Boss 20. Salman called out online trolls for body-shaming the actor. He pointed out that weight gain is natural after pregnancy. Salman urged people to stop commenting on her looks. Many fans and celebrities praised Salman for taking a firm stand.

Following Salman's strong message on air, Ejaz posted a video apology online. He admitted that his words were hurtful to Katrina and her supporters. The RJ claimed he never intended to body-shame her. He explained that he made the remarks casually to create a hook for his video. Ejaz expressed deep regret over his actions and apologised directly to both Katrina and Salman.

The influencer acknowledged the global criticism he received for his behavior. Other notable figures, including Pakistani actor Ali Zafar, had previously condemned his comments. Ejaz reiterated his respect for both Bollywood stars during his statement. He eventually disabled the comments section on his post.

Katrina Kaif welcomed her son, Vihaan Kaushal, with husband Vicky Kaushal last November. She recently returned to public life after taking time off for her family.
