Vijay Deverakonda's Kingdom Disappoints Fans with Edited OTT Release

This has disappointed fans who watched the film in theaters and were expecting the complete version.

Vijay Deverakonda’s latest film, Kingdom, was released in theaters on July 28 with huge expectations but failed to live up to audience expectations. The below-average box-office film is now available for digital streaming on Netflix.

Many of Deverakonda's fans and a wider audience were eagerly awaiting its OTT release. However, the film's makers reportedly removed the Hridayam Lopala song and a carnival fight sequence from the digital version.

This has disappointed fans who watched the film in theaters and were expecting the complete version.

Malayalam actor Venkitesh VP plays the antagonist in the movie, which also features Satyadev Kancharana, Rohini, Bhoomi Shetty, Ayyappa P. Sharma, Goparaju Ramana, and others in key roles.

The music for the film was composed by Anirudh. Gowtam Tinnanuri's call was to remove Hridayam Lopala and another scene involving Deverakonda and Bhagyashri Borse in the theatrical version.
