According to reports, Netflix has acquired the digital rights for Retro. The film will have its digital premiere on Netflix once its theatrical run is complete.
It will be available in five languages: Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. The film is expected to arrive on OTT in the first week of June.
Joju George has played Surya's adoptive father in the movie. Jayaram, Prakash Raj, and several others have also played different parts. The music has been composed by Santhosh Narayanan. Suriya and Jyothika are among the film's producers.
Actor Suriya was seen as a warrior in last year's Kanguva. Recently, he confirmed his union with director Venky Atluri of Lucky Baskhar fame.
