After tasting success with the Hindi web series ‘Rana Naidu, young actor Rana Dagguabati has commenced his work for its sequel ‘Rana Naidu 2’ to showcase his grey shades once again. “He is shooting in the nights in Hyderabad and looking quite energetic,’ says a source, who adds, “Rana has proved his mettle in the first part as he played a challenging role of a fixer who settles issues of rich persons for a pay," he adds.
No doubt, the series was dubbed into Telugu and received some flak for bold scenes, double entendre, and loads of skin show. “But it was a big success on OTT across the world and was liked in over 140 countries since Rana was playing a no-holds-barred tough role who dislikes his father(Venkatesh) and they are always at loggerheads,” he points out.
After playing a baddy in ‘Baahubali’, talented actor Rana showcased his grey shades in his political thriller ‘Nene Raju Nene Mantri’ and tasted success. “He could slip into all kinds of roles and dares to do something different and chalk out his path in the industry,” he adds
He also plays a key role in Rajinikanth’s 170th film being directed by Jai Bhim director and he is surely picking roles in different languages to expand his fan base. "He is mixing up lead roles with special roles with ease."
