Plot of "Sukhee"
For those who may have missed witnessing Shilpa Shetty's remarkable performance in "Sukhee," here's a glimpse of the storyline. The film revolves around the character Sukhee, portrayed by Shilpa Shetty. She is a typical middle-class woman, married to Guru (portrayed effectively by Chaitanya Choudhry). The couple also has a young school-going daughter (discovered through the director's keen eye). Their family also includes the endearing Vinod Nagpal, who plays Sukhee's father-in-law.

"Sukhee's All-Girls Trip"
Sukhee's life follows a conventional path until one day when she decides to heed the call of her heart and embark on an all-girls trip, a reunion of her college friends. Sukhee and her girl gang not only reminisce about their college days but also revel in the joys of the present. The girl gang comprises Mansi, Tanvi, and Meher (portrayed by Kusha Kapila, Dilnaz Irani, and Pavleen Gujral, respectively). With their college-era mantra of "Bedhadak" (Fearless), "Besharam" (Shameless), and "Beparwaah" (Carefree), these ladies leave no stone unturned in celebrating life.

During this journey, Sukhee crosses paths with her former classmate Vikram Varma (played by Amit Sadh), who has become a multimillionaire. Flashbacks reveal that Vikram was deeply in love with Sukhee during their college days but never found the courage to confess his feelings. On the other hand, Sukhee, tired of living a life weighed down by obligations and responsibilities, begins to find solace in Vikram. The film explores the intertwined lives of Sukhee, Vikram, Guru, and their young daughter.

Directed by Sonal Joshi, "Sukhee" was written by Radhika Anand, Paulomi Dutta, and Rupinder Inderjit. The film was produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Vikram Malhotra, and Shikhaa Sharma. Don't miss this heartfelt drama when it arrives on Netflix.
