It’s almost Christmas and streaming platforms too are ready with their lineup to keep the fans hooked to screens, big or small. As usual, we will have some old favorites coming with the new season while some entirely fresh content also awaits us.

Lily Collins returns as Emily in ‘Emily in Paris’ as the third season drops this week on Netflix on December 21. The series chronicling an American’s life in Paris has had a successful run so far. This is its third season in just two years.
Next is Alice, not in wonderland, but borderland. The second season of ‘Alice in Borderland’ will be aired on December 22. It’s a Japanese science fiction thriller drama based on the manga of the same name.
Daniel Craig was as much loved as a detective in ‘Knives Out’ as was as James Bond. He is back as world-famous detective Benoit Blanc peeling back the layers of a mystery surrounding a tech magnate. The movie, Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, has been directed by Rian Johnson.
Nandi award-winning movie ‘Anukokunda Oka Roju’ is all set for its OTT release this Friday, 17 years after its original release. Starring Jagapathi Babu, and Charmy, it is a mystery-thriller film. This movie also had a Hindi remake.
Considered one of the best Telugu movies, ‘Oohalu Gusagusalade’ starring Naga Shourya and Raashi Khanna will start streaming on Friday.
Similarly, a new episode of the K-drama ‘Trolley’ featuring Park Hee-soon will be dropped on Monday.

Described as spooky to the core and one of the best horror movies of this year, ‘Masooda’ will premiere on Aha on December 21. Directed by Sai Kiran, the movie believed not be for the faint-hearted, stars Sangeetha, Thiruveer, and Subhalekha Sudhakar among others. The story is about a mother’s efforts to save her daughter from evil forces.

One of America’s popular espionage writer Tom Clancy’s ‘Jack Ryan’ will return this Wednesday. In Season 3, Jack races against time and across Europe to stop a rogue faction within the Russian government from restoring the Soviet Empire and starting World War III. The series which stars John Krasinski, Wendell Pierce, Nina Hoss will be available in several languages simultaneously. This season is likely to have eight episodes.

On December 20, 22nd episode of Season 18 of ‘American Dad will be aired. On the same day, we will have the fifth episode of the third season of ‘His Dark Materials’.
