Bigg Boss OTT 2: Pooja Bhatt opens up about her parents love story

As the highly anticipated grand finale of Bigg Boss OTT 2 draws closer, excitement and curiosity are reaching a fever pitch among fans. The countdown to discovering the winner of the show has intensified, and the contestants have been soaking up their final moments within the Bigg Boss house, acutely aware that their time inside is drawing to a close. The 58th episode of Bigg Boss OTT 2 was a blend of heartfelt conversations, with the contestants reflecting on their journey and the imminent conclusion of the show's exhilarating run. This episode was replete with engaging moments that held the audience's rapt attention from start to finish.

Here are three particularly captivating moments from the 58th episode of Bigg Boss OTT 2:

Parents love story

A heartwarming exchange unfolded between Pooja Bhatt and Bebika Dhurve, during which Bebika praised Pooja's command of the Marathi language. Curiosity led Bebika to inquire about Pooja's hometown, to which Pooja responded that Bandra, Bombay, holds that distinction. She shared a delightful anecdote, saying, "We used to reside near Hinduja Hospital in Shivaji Park, and our dwelling was named Silver Sands. The story of 'Aashiqui' is, in fact, my parents' love story." Bebika's expression turned incredulous upon hearing this revelation.

Pooja continued her narrative, "My mother was a student at the nearby school while my father resided in a building opposite. On one occasion, during the school's sports day, my father spotted my mother from a distance. She was an athlete, and their connection was instant. That evening, my father scaled a wall to find her, but he got caught. At that point, my father wasn't even acquainted with my mother. The principal summoned my grandmother and conveyed the situation. My grandmother told my father, 'If you're daring enough to climb walls to meet my daughter, then you must shoulder her responsibility.' Thus, at that tender age, my father embraced the responsibility of my mother. She was in her final year of school. From then on, he shouldered her responsibility and has remained by her side till this day."

Pooja added, "My parents eventually separated some time ago. We now even have a second family. However, this is the way relationships should be. The dynamics may change, but when you take on someone's responsibility, you uphold it for life. Such individuals are rare, especially among men. Few men truly make a woman feel that they are committed to her well-being. My mother acknowledges that she may have disagreements with my brother and me, yet my father remains an unwavering pillar."

What's up with Manisha Rani?

In another exchange, Bebika Dhurve raised the prospect that Manisha Rani might face challenges if she maintains her friendship with Abhishek Malhan post-Bigg Boss. Bebika revealed that Manisha aspires to broaden her horizons and secure work in the Bollywood industry. Pooja, intrigued, inquired about the nature of this work. Bebika shared that Manisha is interested in pursuing a career in Bollywood. Pooja then candidly expressed her view, saying, "Manisha isn't suited for leading roles. An actor needs to possess generosity and the ability to see beyond oneself. She seems to be self-absorbed and fixated on her own self. She might do songs. While she's undeniably cute, her uniqueness lies in the way she speaks, which is her distinctive trait. If she capitalizes on this, it might work for one or two films. However, she may struggle to embody different characters. Her rhymes may be entertaining within the context of the house, but there's a limit to how much it will resonate." Addressing Manisha's flirtatious behavior, Pooja asserted, "Let's avoid discussing flirting, as it isn't genuine."

In essence, the 58th episode of Bigg Boss OTT 2 was a tapestry of conversations that delved into personal histories, opinions, and observations. As the grand finale looms, these exchanges served as a reminder of the diverse and compelling dynamics that have unfolded within the Bigg Boss house.
