Bigg Boss Tamil Season 7, hosted by Kamal Haasan, has been on the air for a week on Vijay Television. This season features 18 contestants from diverse backgrounds, and among them was the well-known writer Bava Chelladurai. However, after enduring a week inside the Bigg Boss house, Bava Chelladurai has decided to exit the show due to health concerns, becoming the second contestant to leave this season.
Early Eviction and Nominated Contestant
Earlier on October 8, Kamal Haasan announced the eviction of social media influencer Ananya Rao, marking her as the first contestant to be eliminated from the show. Bava Chelladurai was one of the nominated contestants last week. He was sent to the Small Boss house for the second consecutive time, a scenario that appears to have taken a toll on him physically and mentally. Contestants in the Small Boss house are tasked with cooking and cleaning while being excluded from participating in any other house activities.
Health Concerns and Exit Decision
On October 9, Bava Chelladurai communicated to Bigg Boss about experiencing chest pains and expressed his desire to exit the show. After receiving counseling and some time to deliberate, he reaffirmed his decision to leave. He stated, "I want to step out of the show immediately. There's no reconsideration on that front. The housemates took care of me like a father. I was thinking that I could have added value to the show. But, my health and mental health didn't allow me to." Bava exited the show through the confession room.
Selection for Small Boss House
Saravana Vickram, who became the second captain of the house on October 8, was tasked with choosing contestants to be sent to the Small Boss house. He selected Bava Chelladurai, Pradeep Antony, Aishwarya, Maya, Cool Suresh, Vishnu, and Vijay Varma for the second week.
With Bava Chelladurai's voluntary exit from the show, the question now arises if another contestant from the Bigg Boss house will join the Small Boss house, adding another layer of unpredictability to this season of Bigg Boss Tamil.
