20 Year Age Gap Between Ranveer Singh, Sara Arjun in Dhurandar Sparks Debate

The movie is introducing 20-year-old Sara Arjun next to Ranveer, which sparked intense discussions over their age gap across social media platforms.

The first look was released this Sunday and ignited a stir on many Social Media platforms including Reddit, X and Instagram.

The video showcased the main actors of the movie and little information about the setting of the plot. However, the film's storyline and the character details are not known yet but many are suspecting its based on a covert operation of Indian Intelligence in Pakistan.

It is believed that the movie draws inspiration from the life of Indian super spy and National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval, recognized for his involvement in surgical strikes.

A user said on X, "Sara Arjun will turn 20 this year. Ranveer turns 40 today. It also means when it was being filmed, she just turned 18."

"How did Singh even agree to do this? You couldn’t ask to hire an older actress? Bhanshali literally showed Alia as a minor in Gangu. Same goes with Priscilla," the user added.

BUTTTTT the main actress of this movie is just 20!!!!!!!! And Ranveer on the other hand is 40!!!!! Isn't it kinda creepy considering that she's very very young even though she's been in the industry for very long (as a child artist),” one post read."

Meanwhile many people are expecting that Sara Arjun and Ranveer Singh aren't paired as romantic leads.

The Dhurandhar has been written, directed, and produced by Aditya Dhar. The movie is being produced alongside Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar.

The movie casts Ranveer Singh, Sara Arjun, Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, and R. Madhavan in lead roles.
