She is leaving behind leading Tollywood actresses like Anushka Shetty, Kajal Aggarwal, Tamannaah, Shruti Haasan, and Rashmika Mandanna, who typically command between ₹3 and ₹5 crore. “She’s being paid ₹10 crore for her comeback Telugu film,” confirms a celebrity manager. “This makes her the first actress in the Telugu industry to enter the double-digit salary club, setting a new benchmark for her peers.”
Part of the reason for the high remuneration is her co-starring role alongside megastar Chiranjeevi in what is expected to be one of Tollywood's most expensive productions.
“Nayanthara has always managed her career wisely, maintaining both her popularity and market value. For female-centric films with strong scripts, she usually charges ₹2 to ₹3 crore. But when she’s cast opposite top stars, her fee naturally increases. She was paid ₹8 crore for her role opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Jawan,” the manager explains.
Over the years, Nayanthara has built a solid fan base among Telugu audiences with hits like Simha and Legend with Balakrishna and has shared screen space with veterans like Venkatesh and Nagarjuna.
“She’s been very selective about her Telugu projects, preferring commercial films that offer her meaningful roles,” the manager concludes.
