Nani In Talks To Join Dhanush In Mani Ratnam's Next Film

Actor Nani is reportedly in talks with ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam for a multi-starrer, and the buzz has certainly caught attention. While earlier reports suggested that Suriya would join Dhanush in the film, the latest buzz is that Nani could step into Suriya's place.
Mani Ratnam has apparently been working on the script for some time, with Dhanush expected to play one of the lead roles. Suriya was initially linked to the project, but Nani's name has now started doing the rounds. However, there is no official confirmation from the makers yet.
For Nani, working with Mani Ratnam would be a special opportunity. The actor has often spoken about his admiration for the filmmaker and his style of storytelling. Interestingly, Nani has already had a small association with Mani Ratnam's cinema. He dubbed for Dulquer Salmaan in the Telugu version of 'Ok Bangaram'.
If the collaboration happens, it will also bring Nani back to Tamil cinema. He had earlier acted in Tamil films such as 'Veppam' and 'Neethane En Ponvasantham'.
A film featuring Nani and Dhanush, with Mani Ratnam at the helm, would certainly be an interesting combination.
