Nancy Tyagi’s sequined corset, handmade roses, and signature grace turned the red carpet into a runway of self-made brilliance - cementing her title as the “Doll of Cannes”
Nancy Tyagi, a 23-year old self-made designer and fashion influencer from Baranwa, Uttar Pradesh, gained her first global reorganization in 2024 Cannes festival creating her own stunning 20 kg gown. In 2025 she returned to the 78th Cannes Film Festival with a design inspired by floral architecture and cinematic elegance. The crafted materials are from Seelampur, North-east Delhi featuring hand-made roses, a dramatic shoulder piece, and a tulle train. The look aimed to highlight the gown’s artistry with minimal styling with a classic bun.
Nancy’s self- designed gown illuminates a deep-cut neckline, a sequined corset bodice, and a structured silhouette with rose-adorned details extending into a dramatic headpiece. A layered tulle skirt completed the look. She styled it with emerald-cut earrings, silver OTT nails, and a sleek bun, opting for silver smokey eyes, flushed cheeks, and a radiant glow.
The influencer being named the “ The doll of Cannes” is obtained due to the widespread attention from media, portraying her ability to blend intricate craftsmanship with a whimsical Fairy-tale aesthetic which made her stand out, inspiring the global audience and redefining the image of a modern fashion icon through sheer dedication and originality.
