Naga Chaitanya's Thandel Surges to ₹15 Crore in Two Days

Actor's On-Screen Chemistry with Sai Pallavi Boosts Film’s Box Office Success

Naga Chaitanya’s efforts seem to be paying off, as his latest release, Thandel, continues to perform well at the box office. “The film has garnered over ₹15 crore in net collections across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in just two days,” says a distributor, adding that Chaitanya’s on-screen chemistry with Sai Pallavi has captivated audiences. “They are emerging as a successful on-screen pair, complementing each other with their charm and effortless camaraderie,” he notes.

After facing setbacks with films like Custody, the Akkineni scion has returned to his forte— a love story infused with patriotism. “Chaitanya shines in lover-boy roles, but he has also impressed with action sequences. His lovelorn expressions and the emotional depth he brings to moments of separation have struck a chord with viewers,” the distributor adds.

Director Chandoo Mondeti, known for his expertise in socio-fantasy films like Karthikeya 2, has ventured into a fresh narrative this time. Sai Pallavi once again excels in a realistic lover-girl role, portraying both affection and anguish with depth—particularly in scenes where her character grapples with her lover’s imprisonment.
