The Kalki 2898 AD director praised Chiranjeevi’s versatility and expressed hopes for a future collaboration
Acclaimed director Nag Ashwin, fresh off the success of Kalki 2898 AD, recently expressed his admiration for legendary actor Chiranjeevi and his eagerness to collaborate with him.
Speaking at a promotional event for Brahma Anandam, Ashwin shared his excitement about sharing the stage with Padma awardees Chiranjeevi and Brahmanandam. “It’s an absolute honor to be here alongside such legends. I feel truly elated,” he said.
Reflecting on his work with Brahmanandam in Jathi Ratnalu and Kalki 2898 AD, Ashwin praised the veteran comedian’s talent. He then expressed his desire to work with Chiranjeevi, saying, “I’ve always admired his versatility, especially in films like Chantabbai and Apadhbandhavudu. I hope to collaborate with him someday.”
In response, Chiranjeevi assured Ashwin that their collaboration would happen and jokingly urged him to complete the Kalki 2898 AD sequel soon.
Meanwhile, Ashwin is preparing for his next major project, featuring cinematic icons Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, and Deepika Padukone. Filming is set to begin in April.
