Here is great news for the extreme metal lovers in Kochi. Renowned death metal band from Shillong, Plague Throat, will perform in the city as part of a combined concert. The concert, to be held at Moshpit concerts in Thoppumpady on 27th of April, is organised in association with Moshpit Concerts and Proximity Music Management group.
Even though the band was formed in 2008, Plague Throat gained a lot more exposure after they released their debut EP An Exordium To Contagion. Comprising Lyngwa, bassist Iaidon Jyrwa and drummer Malice aka Dolreich Bianglang Kharmawphlang, the band started out as a four-member melodic death metal group called Against.
The gig will also feature ace old-school death metal outfits Regicide and Nagpur-based Infestation, to give metal lovers a dose of a face-melting metal experience Kochi is yet to witness. The tickets are priced at Rs 500.
