A singer-songwriter and composer, Arjun Kanungo says he started to pursue music when he was still studying in college. After the hit Baaki Baatein Peene Baad with rapper Badshah last year, Arjun has recently released his latest single Fursat. We get Arjun to reveal his musical favourites:
Song on repeat on my iPod: Ye Fitoor Mera from the movie Fitoor.
Songs that would feature in the soundtrack of your life: The soundtrack of Man of Steel and Social Network. I am obsessed with those and they’re very edgy.
A song you love to listen to when:
You’re low: Classical music and Gulon Main Rang Bhare from Haider by Arijit Singh
You’re working out: I listen to Dance Off.
Music I loved while growing up, but am now embarrassed by: I used to listen to a lot of NSync which had Justin Timberlake in it.
I’d describe my taste in music as: My taste is very comprehensive when it comes to music. I listen to all kinds.
My favourite time/way to listen to music during the day: I start to listen to music as soon as I wake up.
A band or musician you’d want performing a private concert for you: Undoubtedly Beyoncé. She is something else and her performances have a
different spunk altogether.
One live act you would love to see at least once in your life: It has to be Beyoncé again. She’s a great performer.
