A.R. Rahman may be the serious type in real life, but when it comes to music, he can get experimental. News is just out that A.R. Rahman has roped in rapper Raftaar for Anil Kapoor’s Saath.
Rahman was so impressed with Raftaar’s way of working that he actually flew to LA, just to record the song with him. It was Dangal’s hit number, Dhakad, that worked for Raftaar.
Rehman was scouting for a singer who could rap in Haryanwi style. Once he heard the hit song from Dangal, Rehman knew it had to be Raftaar, who could give him the song he was looking for.
