One song that you listen to on repeat mode on your iPod these days:
Semper Femina by Laura Marling

If you had to put together a soundtrack for your life, which five songs best describe your life:
Suhaani Raat Dhal Chuki is a track that made me fall in love with Mohd. Rafi Saahab; Gurus of Peace, which was a song that helped me connect with patriotism, Tere Bina Besuaadi, which prompted me to drop out of pre-med in Canada to pursue music as a profession in Mumbai, Tu Hi Re, and Jal Pari.

Is there a song you love to listen to when:
You’re happy and upbeat?
Shape of You by Ed Sheeran.
You’re really low? Say Something by A Great Big World and Christina Aguilera.
You’re working out? Skrillex and Diplo tracks.

How would you describe your taste in music:
I listen to everything under the sun, except heavy metal.

Your favourite time/way to listen to music during the day:
I listen to music all the time.

Is there any music you used to love as a kid or a teenager that you’re now embarrassed by?
I think God has blessed me with good taste in music!

One band/musician you want a private concert from:
A.R. Rahman, John Legend, and Michael Buble.

One live act you would love to see at least once in your life:
If I get front row tickets, it would have to be Sting. I also would’ve ached to see MJ and Ella Fitzgerald. I feel like I belong to the ’30s and ’40s.
