Here\'s the story Behind Jeffrey Almanzar’s stage name, \'TK Bands\'

Lately, the rap music scenario has reached a new high,with refreshing new artists and performers breaking the conventional mold of music and bringing groundbreaking sounds, rhythms and soundsto light. Originally a niche genre of music associated with a smaller subgroup of music enthusiasts, rap has found many fans over the recent years. As new and improved rap artists have come to the forefront with their unique style of music, it has helped the genre reach out to more and more fans worldwide. One such artist who has been responsible for the changing face of rap music and has become a brand force to be reckoned with is TK Bands.

Born as Jeffrey Almanzar, the twenty-four-year old Brooklyn-based musician had a tough life to begin with. He did not come from a very affluent background and had to work really hard to make ends meet. There was constant struggle, which led to a lot of emotions, anger, angst and resentment being bottled up. One day, when he felt that he had reached the edge of his patience and there was no hope, he took a pen and started putting down his frustration to paper. It was mostly an act of venting out his anger and negative emotions on paper, an attempt to bring his frustrations under control. This was the changing point of his life.

Almanzar started writing more and more, to help get his angst off his chest. Soon he started seeing the beauty in his writing. Slowly his words were arranged into poems and them turned into songs, which gave birth to his music career and led to his stage-name, “TK Bands”. It was his friends who gave him the unconditional support and helped him fight his fears. “Shortly after going to the studio and recording my song I let a couple of my friends listen and they liked it. They told me I should look for venues to perform and have faith in myself,” said Almanzar.

The beginning of his career was not smooth. As a school dropout he found it difficult to sustain himself, taking up menial jobs to stay afloat. But TK Bands has always believed in a divine power stronger than him. His biggest motivation was his mother, who had worked hard all her life to take care of the family. Eventually though, things started changing, and soon Bands became a rap artist to be reckoned with.

The life of TK Bands is agreat example of how passion and determination one can turn an unfavorable life into something amazing and build a successful career out of it. Music is still considered as an unconventional choice of career, but it is a field where there will always be a place for talent. All it takes is some practice, patience, perseverance and hard work.
