RamVir is happy with the ‘remake’ trend

Inspired by his father, who too had a passion for music, RamVir started off his singing career at the age of 13.

Mumbai: Best known for his remake of song ‘Ijazat’ from Sunny Leone starrer ‘One Night Stand’ in 2016, young singer RamVir considers his international musical collaborations a major turning point in his career. “I collaborated with Indo-American singer Mickey Singh for the Y.T.L Treemix which really helped me gain a lot of exposure and new fans.”

Inspired by his father, who too had a passion for music, RamVir started off his singing career at the age of 13.

All set to mark his debut into Bollywood, the singer calls Arijit Singh his biggest inspiration, adding, “I think any movie with good music whether the story is good or not, can change people's outlook to the movie. So yes, music surely plays a huge role in a movie's success.”

Very supportive of the ‘remake’ trend, he says, “I feel it's amazing when you recreate a special song. It gives you a beautiful feeling because that particular song has a special place in your heart."

"When I recreate and do remakes, I do it because the song holds a special space and moment in my life. Through the remake I try to express that moment in my own way,” added Ram.

Asked about the magnificent success of the rap songs in B-Town, he says, “I think it's amazing and also shows that India as a country and as a culture is becoming more accepting of the youth and what they are bringing to the table. Rap is another way to express yourself and for India to accept and make it a success says a lot about the growth of the country.”

On the work front, RamVir will soon be coming up with more than five songs, this year.
