Be a part of Chaos' new music video

The 10-year-old thrash metal band is inviting fans to be part of their second album All Against All with a two-day camp in Kannur.

It’s a new thought. A band is actually inviting fans from across the world to come join them for the shooting of the title track of an album. Ten-year-old Chaos is shooting All Against All with a two-day camp on the roads of Kannur. All Against All is the second album of this Kerala-based thrash metal band which had started off in Thiruvananthapuram 10 years ago. “Around 100 people will be joining us in the video, with mud on their bodies, and staying with us and the members of The Down Troddence (another metal band from Kannur/Bengaluru) in the camps,” says Nikhil NR, lead guitarist of Chaos. Munz, vocalist of TDT will in fact be directing the video.

“Clint Soman will be shooting the video and I will be directing it. We have been friends with Chaos for years, and it’s all friends and fans coming for the camp too,” Munz says.

There will be an acoustic jam session by members of both the bands in the night with the crowd. In addition there will also be a guitar clinic led by Nikhil and a drum clinic lead by Manu, drummer of Chaos. Sangeeth Rao is organising the camp.

The band had made news when three years ago they became the first metal band from Kerala to bring out an album – Violent Redemption – with the killer voice of vocalist Jayakrishnan (more popularly known as JK) and Dimebag Darrell-influenced riffing by Nikhil.
